Delete your account
You can request deletion of your Palitha Detox account and associated cloud family data.
Delete from the app
- Sign in to the parent account you want to delete.
- End any running child session through Parent controls.
- Open Settings → Parent account → Delete my account.
- Cancel any active subscription in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Account deletion does not cancel recurring billing.
- Read the explanation, confirm your password and choose Permanently delete account.
Request deletion without the app
Email us from the address used for your Palitha Detox parent account. Use the subject “Palitha Detox account deletion” and say that you want your account and family data deleted. We will verify account ownership before processing your request.
This opens your email app. Nothing is sent automatically. Do not include your password, parent PIN or private child details.
Remove cloud family data while keeping your account
In updated builds, open Settings → Privacy & device transfer → Remove earlier cloud copy, then confirm your parent password. New child-family uploads are already blocked on every version; this action removes the earlier live cloud family copy. Recover a needed earlier copy to your device first. Your current device family copy remains available. If the updated controls are unavailable, contact support from your parent account email to request cloud family-data removal. This does not cancel Google Play renewal.
What is removed
Deletion removes your Supabase sign-in account and its cloud family record, including child profiles, settings, task text, goals and progress. Deleting inside the app also removes the account’s cache and unshared task media from that device.
Other devices and parent-selected export destinations can retain offline copies, photos, recordings or encrypted transfer files until removed there. An email request cannot remotely erase offline device storage. Remove those copies on each device, or clear/uninstall the app only after keeping anything you want to retain. Original local-only records belonging to a separate family are not part of the deleted cloud account.
There is no undo after account deletion. A later account with the same email does not restore the deleted cloud family.
Billing records and subscriptions
Deleting your parent account does not cancel your Google Play subscription or delete Google’s transaction records. Cancel renewal in Google Play separately. On account deletion, we remove the billing account ID, raw purchase token, original subscription state and expiry. A minimal account-unlinked token hash with deletion/verification timestamps remains solely to prevent token reuse. It cannot restore an account or grant access. Google retains its own transaction records; a new parent account does not automatically inherit the old subscription.
